Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander
Community Support & Case Management
We are deeply committed to providing culturally safe, respectful, and responsive services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, and communities. We honour the rich cultures, traditions, and histories of Australia’s First Nations peoples, and acknowledge the ongoing impact of colonisation, intergenerational trauma, and systemic disadvantage on their lives.
Our approach is grounded in cultural humility, genuine respect, and a commitment to self-determination. We work collaboratively with clients, their families, elders, and community networks to develop culturally appropriate support plans that reflect each person’s values, identity, and goals. We actively engage with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), local elders, and cultural liaisons to ensure our practice is informed and genuinely helpful.
Our services include assessment and support planning, connection to culturally appropriate health and wellbeing services, housing, legal and financial assistance, family and child protection support, and advocacy across government and community systems.
To continuously strengthen our cultural practice, Celine & Staff is currently undertaking specialised training through Yarning Crescent — a respected provider of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness and capability training. This ongoing professional development reflects our genuine dedication to walking alongside First Nations communities as an organisation that listens, learns, and grows in true partnership with the people we serve.
